COATS GROUP PLC
2020 Annual General Meeting
Coats Group plc ('Coats' or the 'Company') was scheduled to hold its 2020 Annual General Meeting on 20 May 2020 at 2.30pm at 4 Longwalk Road, Stockley Park, Uxbridge UB11 1FE (the Company's Registered Office). The original notice contained a typographical error in connection with Resolution 15, which should have been proposed as a Special Resolution but was incorrectly proposed as an Ordinary Resolution. In accordance with the Company's Articles of Association and in order to allow the business of the AGM to be properly carried out, the AGM on 20 May 2020 will be adjourned indefinitely and the Company is instead convening its AGM to be held on 11 June 2020 at 2.30pm at the Company's Registered Office. Except to correct this typographical error no other changes have been made to any of the Resolutions proposed. The full notice will be posted on 18 May 2020 to shareholders on the register at close of business on 12 May 2020.
As the Government's compulsory measures relating to social distancing in light of Covid-19 are still in force the Company will not be able to give shareholders access to attend the AGM in person and shareholders will be invited instead to vote by way of proxy.
