Notice of Annual General Meeting

As previously announced on 13 May 2020, Coats Group plc ('Coats' or the 'Company') confirms that its notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) to be held on 11 June 2020, has today been published and can be downloaded from the Company's website https://www.coats.com/en/Investors/Shareholder-center/General-meetings, and this will shortly be posted to shareholders who have requested it.

In accordance with Listing Rule 9.6.1, copies of the Notice have been submitted to the Financial Conduct Authority and will shortly be available for inspection from the National Storage Mechanism at https://data.fca.org.uk/#/nsm/nationalstoragemechanism.

In line with the Government's compulsory measures relating to social distancing in light of Covid-19 (the Measures), the Company will not be able to give shareholders access to attend the AGM in person and so shareholders should instead vote by way of proxy. The AGM will be convened on 11 June 2020 at the Company's registered office, with the minimum necessary quorum of two shareholders present in order to conduct the business of the meeting.

Shareholders are encouraged to submit any questions they would like to have answered at the AGM by e-mailing them to the Company so as to be received no later than 10 June 2020. The e-mail address that is to be used for these purposes only is: [e-mail]. The Board of Directors will endeavour, where appropriate, to answer such questions as soon as practicable following the AGM.
