Close Brothers Aim Vct PLC
10 September 2001
Close Brothers AIM VCT plc ('the Company')
It was announced on 21 and 22 August 2001 that the Company and Mr. Frank
Malcolm, a director of the Company respectively had both acquired 10,000
ordinary shares each in the Company on 21 August 2001.
It has subsequently transpired that the vendor of the shares had placed a sale
order in the wrong security and was not in a position to deliver the shares.
Mr. Malcolm and the Company are satisfied that the error was unwittingly made
and have, together with all other interested parties, agreed to the
cancellation of the bargains on 31 August 2001. The Company will not therefore
cancel 10,000 shares. Mr. Malcolm's holding in the ordinary shares of Close
Brothers AIM VCT plc therefore remains at 5,000 shares. Mr. Malcolm also holds
50,000 'C' ordinary shares.
