Appointment of Director

Cobra, a gold, rare earth and IOCG exploration company focused on the Wudinna Project in South Australia, is pleased to announce the appointment of Rupert Verco, who has been Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Cobra since 12 July 2021, as a director of the Company with immediate effect.

Rupert is a mining specialist with over 15 years' experience in Australia and internationally. His areas of focus include resource definition, reserve optimisation, mine planning, and mine operation. Rupert has managed operations through all phases of the mining cycle. He is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy and holds a First Class Honours in Geology.

As CEO of Cobra, Rupert has overseen a transformational period incorporating numerous field programmes which have placed the Company in a position to define a potentially extensive, regionally scalable clay-hosted rare earth resource above and proximal to gold resources, while identifying significant gold mineralisation outside of current Mineral Resource Estimates.

Under Rupert's leadership, Cobra has expanded its land holding in the Gawler Craton to 3,261 km2, establishing the Company as a major player in the tier 1 mining jurisdiction of South Australia, and published an inaugural Sustainability Plan, reflecting the Board's commitment to developing an industry-leading approach to Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG).

There is no further information in respect of the appointment of Rupert Tolmer Verco (aged 36) which would require disclosure under Listing Rule 9.6.13 R (1) - (6).

Greg Hancock, Chairman of Cobra, commented :

"Rupert's contribution since joining as CEO has been both impressive and integral to positioning Cobra to define a unique multi-mineral resource in South Australia. As we expand our operations and aim to progress in time from exploration to mine development, we look forward to continuing to benefit from Rupert's experience both as CEO and now as a member of the Board of Directors."

About Cobra

Cobra is defining a unique multi-mineral resource at the Wudinna Project in South Australia's Gawler Craton, a tier one mining and exploration jurisdiction which hosts several world class mines. Cobra's Wudinna tenements, totalling 3,261 km2, contain extensive orogenic gold mineralisation and are characterised by potentially open-pitable, high-grade gold intersections, with ready access to infrastructure. Cobra has 22 orogenic gold targets outside of a current 211,000 Oz JORC Mineral Resource Estimate. In 2021, Cobra discovered rare earth mineralisation proximal to and above gold mineralisation. The grades, style of mineralogy and intersect widths are highly desirable while the mineralisation has been demonstrated to be regionally scalable. The Company is also advancing a pipeline of IOCG targets.
