Cobra Resources plc
("Cobra" or the "Company")
Posting of Notice of Annual General Meeting
Cobra, the gold explorer focused on the Wudinna Gold Project in South Australia, announces that a letter to Shareholders has been posted advising that the Notice of Annual General Meeting ("AGM") has been made available on the Company's website: https://www.cobraplc.com/category/circulars-notices .
The Annual Report and Accounts for the year ended 31 December 2020 will be released shortly and made available on the Company's website: https://www.cobraplc.com/category/financial-reports. A further announcement regarding the publication of the Annual Report and Accounts will be made in due course.
The AGM is to be held on 30 June 2021 at 9.30 a.m. BST.
As it is possible that some restrictions on personal movement may still be in place due to Covid-19 and to avoid unnecessary travel both by shareholders and certain members of the Board who reside outside of the UK, we are utilising provisions in our articles of association to facilitate the holding of the meeting on an electronic platform. Accordingly, this year's AGM will be an electronic meeting only. In accordance with our articles of association, all voting on the resolutions at the AGM must be conducted on a poll which means that you should submit your proxy (by post, email or online voting) as soon as possible. We ask that, wherever possible, all questions which shareholders wish to raise be submitted to info@cobraplc.com in advance; this will enable questions to be addressed fully and in a manner consistent with the business of the AGM.
The platform that we will be using will allow shareholders to fully participate in the AGM and there will be an option to submit a separate poll card at the electronic meeting but, to ease administration, we request that proxies be lodged in advance wherever possible.
Full details of the operation and arrangements for the AGM are set out in the Notice of AGM.
