Statement re. CEO's medical leave of absence
Zug, Switzerland - 15 September 2017 - Coca‑Cola HBC AG ("Coca-Cola HBC" or the "Company") today announces that its CEO, Dimitris Lois, will be taking a temporary leave of absence from the Company in order to undergo treatment for a medical condition. He is currently expected to be on leave for approximately four months. During his leave, Dimitris will stay involved in the business and he will remain a member of the Board of Directors. Michalis Imellos, Coca-Cola HBC's CFO, will serve as Acting CEO during Dimitris's absence.
"It is in the best interest of both Coca-Cola HBC and myself that I take this time to focus on my health, while Michalis and the rest of our strong leadership team continue to execute our strategy" said Dimitris Lois. "I am committed to continue being involved in the business during my leave and I plan to return after completing my treatment."

"The Board has full confidence in the excellent management team that Dimitris has built. Michalis and the team are well equipped to continue driving the Company's strategy and manage day-to-day operations."
Michalis Imellos joined Coca-Cola HBC in 2008 as Region Finance Director and was appointed CFO in 2012.
