Chairman Emeritus
Zug, Switzerland - 27 June 2016 - Coca‑Cola HBC AG ("Coca-Cola HBC" or the "Company") announces today that its board of directors (the "Board") has named Mr. George A. David as Chairman Emeritus of the Company.
As announced on 28 January 2016, Mr George A. David decided to step down from the position of Chairman of the Board of Coca-Cola HBC with effect from 27 January 2016 and retired from the Board following the Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held on 21 June 2016. In view of Mr. David's exceptional contribution to the Board, his many years of dedication to the Coca-Cola HBC group, as well as his strong identification with the Company and its shareholders' interests, the Board has decided to name Mr. David as Chairman Emeritus of the Company with effect from 24 June 2016. Mr David will not be a member of the Board or an officer of the Company as a result of this appointment and will not receive any remuneration for this role.
