Update on completion of EID acquisition
Cohort's subsidiary MASS is awarded contract to supply Electronic Warfare Operational Support
Cohort, the independent technology group, is pleased to announce that its subsidiary MASS has been awarded a contract to provide Electronic Warfare (EW) Operational Support services to an export customer with a total value in excess of £3 million. The work will begin immediately and will contribute to the Group's revenue in the current year and beyond.
Andrew Thomis, Chief Executive of Cohort plc said:
"The award of this contract further highlights that MASS's specialist skills are in demand to our global customers. It reinforces MASS's reputation as the UK's leading provider of independent EW Operational Support services."
Update on completion of EID acquisition
Cohort has received a request from the Portuguese authorities to extend the deadline for completion of the acquisition of EID, announced on 5 August 2015. The Group has been informed that this is due to resource issues in the department responsible for reviewing the transaction. Subject to reaching agreement with the sellers on the terms of the extension, we now expect the transaction to complete by mid-December this year.
