                  Simon Walther appointed as Finance Director

The Board of Cohort plc, owner of Systems Consultants Services Limited ('SCS'),
a leading independent defence technical services business, is pleased to
announce the appointment of Simon Walther as Finance Director with effect from 9
May 2006.

Simon has considerable industry-relevant experience having been Group Financial
Controller at Alvis plc for eight years and, most recently, a consultant to BAE
Systems.

A qualified Chartered Accountant with Touche Ross (1989-1992), Simon moved to
the Peninsular and Oriental Steam Navigation Company (P&O) where he was
appointed a Chief Accountant for P&O European Ferries in 1995. In 1997 he was
appointed Group Financial Controller at Alvis plc.

Andrew Thomis, who has temporarily filled the Finance Director role since
flotation in March, will now concentrate fully on his intended Board position of
Corporate Development Director.

('SCS'), is a leading independent defence technical services business based in
Henley-on-Thames, Oxfordshire in the United Kingdom. SCS provides a range of
technical services to clients in the defence and security sectors, its principal
client being the UK Ministry of Defence ('MOD') and its agencies. Its other
clients include other UK government departments, NATO, major defence contractors
and non-defence businesses.

Cohort plc was listed on London's Alternative Investment Market (AIM) on 8 March
2006.
