Directorate change
Cohort plc, the independent technology Group, announces that Stanley Carter has informed the Board that he does not intend to stand for re-election as a non-executive Director at Cohort's Annual General Meeting which is scheduled for 27 September 2022.
Stanley has been with Cohort since its formation in 2006, initially as its Chief Executive before becoming Co-Chairman in 2009. In 2015, Stanley stepped down from Co-Chairman to become a non-executive Director.
Nick Prest, Chairman of Cohort, said:
"Stanley Carter has made an immense contribution to the development and success of Cohort since co-founding it with me in 2006. The Board and all Cohort staff are grateful to him for his leadership and support through different phases of the company's development, and we look forward to continuing the relationship with him as a major shareholder."
Stanley Carter, non-executive Director of Cohort, said:
"It has been a privilege to have been involved with Cohort for so many years, from its inception to the growing international group it is today. I believe now is an appropriate time for me to step down from the board. I remain a supportive shareholder and look forward to following the Group's continued progress."

1. Stanley jointly founded Cohort with Nick Prest in 2006 with SCS as the launch vehicle on flotation. Prior to that he was managing director of SCS, which he founded in 1992 on leaving the regular Army.
