COHORT PLC ("Cohort")
EBT Purchase
The Company was notified today by the trustees of the Cohort Employee Benefit Trust ("EBT") that they have purchased 45,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the Company on 16 November 2012, at a price of 115.0 pence per share. The shares held in the EBT are intended to be used to satisfy awards made under the Cohort plc 2006 Share Option Scheme and the Cohort plc Savings Related Share Option Scheme.
The EBT is a discretionary trust for the benefit of employees of Cohort plc and its subsidiaries. The Executive Directors of Cohort plc are included in the class of beneficiaries of the EBT and are deemed to be interested in those shares and the dealings thereof.
Following these transactions a total of 806,446 ordinary shares, representing 1.98 per cent of the Company's total voting rights, are held in the EBT.
