COLEFAX GROUP PLC
AGM STATEMENT
David Green, Chairman of Colefax Group Plc, speaking at the company's AGM today,
said:
'The Group has just started its important autumn trading period. Trading has
continued to improve in our major market, the US, since we announced our final
results in July although continued weakness in the US dollar will affect gross
margins. There are also signs of a small improvement in Europe where trading
conditions have been challenging. The UK is performing in line with last year
but any slowdown in the high end housing market is likely to have an adverse
effect on trading'.
At the Annual General Meeting of the Company, all eleven resolutions were duly
passed.
