AGM STATEMENT

David Green, Chairman of Colefax Group plc, will make the following comment on current trading at the Company's AGM later today.

"Since we announced our final results in July, the Group's trading performance in all our major markets (the US, UK and Continental Europe) has been broadly in line with our expectations. In our core Fabric Division, sales for the four months to 31 August 2011 increased by 4% on a constant currency basis. In August we successfully completed the move of our US operations to new warehouse and office premises in New York.

We are now at the start of our important autumn selling season and believe that market conditions are likely to become more challenging, especially in the UK and Europe."
