Colefax Group Plc
Resignation of Director
By mutual agreement, Ann Grafton, Design and Marketing Director, who has been
with the Company for 18 years, has decided with effect from 11th August 2003 to
resign from the Board.
Ann Grafton said: 'The development of the Colefax and Fowler brand and the
brands it has acquired (including Jane Churchill) has been my life for nearly
twenty years. But during that time I married and had two children who are now 9
and 11 and need to see more of their mother. So I have decided, with great
sadness, to resign in order to devote more time to my family. However, I do look
forward come the new year to exploring exciting and interesting challenges in
the world I know and love but for the time being my family comes first'.
David Green, Chairman and Chief Executive, commented: 'Ann has made a huge and
invaluable contribution to the development and sustained success of the Group
over many years. She will be greatly missed by all of her colleagues. The Board
wishes her continued happiness and success'.
