               PRESS RELEASE

During the Board of Directors meeting of Lapeyre held on November 22nd, 1999,
Mr. Noel ANCIAN announced his resignation as Director and Chief Operating
Officer of Lapeyre with immediate effect due to differences relating to the
development strategy of the Lapeyre Group.

In light of resignation of Mr. Noel ANCIAN, the Board of Directors, under the
Chairmanship of Mr. Emile FRANCOIS, has entrusted management responsibility for
Lapeyre on an interim basis to Mr. Emile FRANCOIS.
