Compass Group Agrees to Acquire DORA Gastro in Czech Republic

We are pleased to announce that Compass Group, through its subsidiary Eurest, spol. s r.o., has agreed to acquire the foodservices provider DORA Gastro a.s. ("DORA Gastro") from DORA Group a.s.. For the year ending 31 December 2010, DORA Gastro generated revenue of CZK 446.1m (c.£15.1m) and had gross assets of CZK 178.2m (c.£6.0m). The acquisition is subject to various conditions, including approval by the Office for the Protection of Competition in the Czech Republic.
