NOTIFICATION OF TRANSACTIONS OF DIRECTORS/PERSONS DISCHARGING MANAGERIAL RESPONSIBILITY AND CONNECTED PERSONS

Compass Group PLC (the "Company") announces the following change in the interests of Directors and Persons Discharging Managerial Responsibility ("PDMRs") in ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the share capital of the Company ("Shares").

On 22 June 2011, Miguel Ramis, a PDMR who is responsible for the Group's businesses in Latin America, Southern Europe and Turkey, sold 154,128 Shares at a price of 592.12 pence per Share.   On 23 June 2011, Mr Ramis exercised 250,000 options at an option price of 430.00 pence and disposed of the resulting Shares at 594.5781 pence per Share.

Following this transaction, Mr Ramis holds 621,100 Shares, representing 0.0327% of the issued share capital of the Company.
