On 15 February 2000 Compass Group Trustees Ltd purchased
50,000 shares in Compass Group PLC at a price of
698 pence.
These purchases increase the number of shares in Compass
Group PLC held by Compass Group Trustees Ltd to 878,983.
Compass Group Trustees Ltd is a discretionary trust for
the benefit of all employees, in which the directors have
a technical interest.
