Computacenter plc, the European IT infrastructure services provider, announces
that Cliff Preddy has confirmed that he will not be standing for re-election as
a Non-Executive Director of the Company, following his retirement at the
forthcoming Annual General Meeting on 14 May 2010.
Greg Lock, Chairman of Computacenter said:
"Cliff has, since joining the Computacenter Board in January 2002, made a
considerable contribution to the Board as a whole and in particular, as the
Chairman of the Remuneration Committee. Additionally, since June 2006, Cliff
served as the Senior Independent Director and acted as interim Chairman of the
Board, from February 2008, until my appointment in July 2008. We are immensely
grateful to Cliff for his dedication over the last eight years and wish him well
in his future endeavors"
"The Nominations Committee has appointed an executive search firm to assist in
recruiting a suitable candidate to replace Cliff on the Board and its
sub-committees, including the Chair of the Remuneration Committee"
