Further to the announcement released on 23 November 2007 the company has, on 4
January 2008, purchased a further  230,000 shares for cancellation, at an
average share price of 185.43p. Following the above purchases the total number 
of ordinary shares in issue will be 157,930,020. The Company does not hold any
shares in Treasury.
