Concurrent Technologies Plc
Office Opening in China
Concurrent Technologies (AIM: CNC), a leading manufacturer of high-end embedded
computer products for critical applications in the defence, transportation,
communications and industrial markets, announces the opening of a business
development office in Beijing, to support the company's accelerating presence in
that region. The office is organised in co-operation with the Chinese Britain
Business Council.
A Business Development Manager, Ms. Jacqueline Xie, has been appointed to work
from this office. Ms Xie will be responsible for marketing and sales activities
within China, to further develop and support the company's sales distribution
channels and increase the company's profile within this highly progressive
marketplace.
Ms Xie has worked in the embedded computer industry since 1990. She has
considerable experience on the sales and marketing of products similar to those
of Concurrent Technologies, having worked for other computer board vendors, and
more recently one of Concurrent's Chinese distributors.
Michael Collins Chairman, commented:
'Concurrent Technologies recognises the Chinese market as an excellent
opportunity to increase sales revenues which have to date been serviced by our
Colchester based marketing team travelling frequently to China.
Jacqueline Xie has an excellent understanding of this marketplace and as our
representative on the ground full time, will prove beneficial in terms of
building client relationships within the rapidly expanding marketplace.'
