Product launch
Concurrent Technologies announces the launch of its latest CompactPCI(R) single
board computer featuring dual Intel(R) Xeon(TM) processors. This further broadens
Concurrent Technologies' range of computers and is a further demonstration of
its strategy of widening and improving the product base to meet customer demand.
This Xeon(TM) dual processor design is suited to intensive multitasking
applications requiring scalability and high performance. It is aimed at a range
of market segments with a particular focus on the telecommunications and IT
markets. The product is currently under evaluation by existing and possible new
Concurrent Technologies' customers.
Concurrent Technologies has a world leading position in single board computers
which have highly specialised applications where the need for ultra reliability
combined with high processing power exists. The size of the market is estimated
to be £1,700m* with the potential market for dual processor products being 5% of
this.
