Creston appoints Kathryn Herrick as new CFO

Creston plc (LSE: CRE), the digitally focused insight and communications group, today announces the appointment of Kathryn Herrick as Chief Financial Officer of the Group and member of the Creston board. Kathryn's appointment will be effective by the start of July 2014, with the exact start date to be announced in due course. This announcement follows the recent appointment of former Chief Operating and Financial Officer, Barrie Brien, as Group Chief Executive, effective today.

Kathryn will be joining Creston from Equinix Inc ("Equinix"), where she currently holds the role of Vice President Finance for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Equinix is a high growth global technology firm that provides carrier-neutral data centres and internet exchanges and is listed on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

Kathryn has considerable experience in marketing services having worked in regional and global finance positions within WPP and Interpublic over a 14 year period. She is a chartered accountant having qualified at PwC, following which she spent two years in an internal audit role at Pepsico Inc.
