Announcement 7431Z has now been amended to reflect the correct amount of
shares now held by Don Elgie. The correct details are as follows:
Creston plc (the 'Company') was informed today that Don Elgie, chief executive
of the Company, and Tim Alderson, finance director of the Company, bought
244,783 and 50,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each respectively at 110 pence
per share on 28 February 2001.
Following the purchases, Don Elgie holds 505,103 ordinary shares in the
Company, representing approximately 4.51% of the issued ordinary share capital
of the Company, and Tim Alderson holds 50,000 ordinary shares in the Company,
representing approximately 0.4% of the issued ordinary share capital of the
Company.
