The Company was notified yesterday that Barrie Brien, Chief Operating and
Financial Officer, acquired 5,000 ordinary shares at a price of 145 pence per
ordinary share on 29 September 2004.



Following this purchase Barrie Brien will have an interest in 5,000 ordinary
shares representing approximately 0.02% of the issued share capital. These
shares are registered under Rock Nominees Limited.
