CORAL PRODUCTS PLC
Annual General Meeting
At today's Annual General Meeting in Manchester of Coral Products Plc, ('Coral
' or 'the Company'), one of Europe's leading manufacturers and suppliers of
media packaging for Digital Versatile Disc (DVD), Video and CD, all
resolutions put to shareholders were duly passed.
Following completion of the formal business of the meeting, Chairman, Sir
David Rowe-Ham made the following comments to shareholders:
'As I stated in July in my annual statement, the current year started slowly
with below average demand in evidence throughout the media industry. We had a
quiet first quarter which will result in a fall in profits for the first half
of the year compared to the same period last year.'
'However, customer demand for product has recently returned to normal trends
and our production is currently at full capacity.'
'Depending on the global trading climate we look to current demand continuing
at or around present levels.'
