                                 AGM statement

At the Annual General Meeting to be held on Friday 24th September 2004 the
Chairman of the Company, Sir David Rowe-Ham, will make the following statement
on current trading:

'Raw material prices continue to rise bringing further pressure to margins, and
sales of video boxes in the European market are declining faster than
anticipated. DVD and CD sales remain on track in what are challenging
conditions.'
