Award of BRC Food Packaging Certification

Coral is delighted to announce that it has been awarded the Global Standard for Packaging & Packaging Materials (Issue 4) certification by the British Retail Consortium. This enables Coral to supply food packaging directly to food manufacturers and packagers worldwide.

Warren Ferster, Coral's Chief Executive, commented:

"This certification is the result of months of preparation and allows our Group to fully exploit the great prospects within our Interpack marketing and distribution business. It opens up further opportunities for the Group as we proceed to utilise the now approved Haydock manufacturing facility to expand our product offering. It is a further step in our strategy to reduce our dependence on media packaging."
