Coral Products plc (the 'Company')

The Board of Coral Products plc is pleased to announce the appointment of
Stephen George Fletcher as Finance Director of the Company. Stephen, who is
currently the finance director of Worthington plc and prior to that was with
Bodycote PLC, will replace David Shalom who is leaving to take up the position
of finance director at a private company in Blackburn.

The change, which is simultaneous, will take effect as from 2nd September 2002.

There are no matters to be disclosed pursuant to paragraph 6.F.2 of the Listing
Rules of the UK Listing Authority.
