Dated: 29 May 2009
Regency Mines plc ('Regency' or the 'Company') the mining exploration and mineral investment company with interests in copper and nickel in Western Australia, Queensland, and Papua New Guinea, announces that Ken Watson, managing director, has resigned with immediate effect to concentrate on other activities. Ken, aged 71, has been with the Company since its formation in 2004.

It is with sadness that we see him go after five years of successful endeavour together, but we respect his desire to pursue this opportunity.
