Regency Mines PLC 14 April 2008 REGENCY MINES PLC Exploration Update Dated: 14 April 2008 Regency Mines plc ('Regency' the 'Company') the mining exploration and mineral investment company with interests in copper and nickel in Western Australia, Queensland, and Papua New Guinea, announces progress at its Mambare nickel-cobalt project in Papua New Guinea. An initial fifty kilometre ground-penetrating radar programme began a week ago along twelve east-west lines in the south-west of the license drilled last year. Wacker drilling in the south of the license across the Arumu River has also begun, with the purpose of investigating a possible extension to the mineralised plateau in this area, which is close to existing infrastructure and roads. A 200 kg limonite sample has been shipped to the General Research Institute for Nonferrous Metals in Beijing for metallurgical test work. Diamond drilling is expected to begin shortly and a further announcement will be made.
