Regency Mines plc ('Regency' the 'Company') the mining exploration and mineral
investment company with interests in copper and nickel in Western Australia,
Queensland, and Papua New Guinea, was notified on 29th January 2008 that BellMin
Ltd has sold 270,000 ordinary shares of 0.01p each in the capital of the Company
('Ordinary Shares') at 3p per Ordinary Share on 28th January 2008.



Following this transaction BellMin Ltd is interested in 43,644,265 Ordinary
Shares representing 22.2% of the issued share capital of the Company. The sale
was to meet professional fees and BellMin Ltd has stated it has no intention of
selling any additional Ordinary Shares in the near term.



Andrew Bell, a director of the Company, has a substantial beneficial interest in
BellMin Ltd.
