Mondas announces contract with
Williams de Broe Plc
Banking & Securities software specialist, Mondas Plc, announces today that
Williams de Broe Plc, one of the City's leading stockbrokers, has signed a
contract worth a minimum of £350,000 for Mondas' corporate actions software,
Radica CAPS and election management portal, 'EMP'. The contract includes
licence, services and support over five years.
Radica CAPS will enhance 'straight-through-processing' within Williams de Broe's
corporate actions departments. EMP will automate, through a web tool, the
process of making elections on voluntary corporate actions. The system will be
fully integrated with their back office systems.
Jarlath McGee, Chief Executive Officer of Mondas commented:
'I am delighted that Williams de Broe has chosen Radica CAPS. Mondas is excited
to be working with an organisation that is investing in such automation
projects. We expect to collaborate with them on developing further the
capabilities of our Asset Servicing solutions. This latest order from a major
customer further strengthens the position of the Group's flagship product Radica
CAPS in this very competitive market. '
David Whistance, Finance Director of Williams de Broe commented:
'Williams de Broe has been evaluating corporate actions vendors for some time.
Our deliberations were prolonged as we were waiting to see how the market
developed. We selected Mondas because we feel that Radica CAPS represents the
most comprehensive solution at this point in time.'
Further information regarding the order will be announced in due course.
