Corero Network Security plc (AIM: CNS), the network security and business software provider, is pleased to announce that Network Products Guide has named Corero Network Security division's ("CNS") First Line of Defense solution as the winner in the "Best IT Products and Services for Finance, Banking and Insurance" category.  CNS also won the "Best IT Products and Services for Medium-Sized Enterprises" award.

CNS' First Line of Defense solution stops distributed denial of service (DDoS), zero-day (an attack that exploits a previously unknown vulnerability in a computer application), server targeted, and other malicious attack activity that easily bypasses traditional defenses - including firewalls - by filtering and removing attack traffic before it hits the network.
