                     Mondas plc ('Mondas' or the 'Company')

                               Holding in Company

Mondas announces that the Company was notified today that, following a sale of
300,000 ordinary shares on 21 September 2005, JOHCM OEIC Managers LLP held, on
that date, 2,000,000 Mondas ordinary shares, equivalent to 7.66 per cent of the
ordinary share capital of the Company.

Mondas was also notified today that, following an internal transfer, JOHCM OEIC
Managers LLP no longer has any interest in the share capital of the Company and
that FF & P Small Cap UK Equity Fund, a sub-fund of FF & P Global Equities
Umbrella Fund, is interested in 2,000,000 ordinary shares in Mondas, equivalent
to 7.66 per cent of the issued ordinary share capital of the Company.
