Mondas PLC ('Mondas' or 'the Company')
MONDAS SECURES ANOTHER MAJOR CORPORATE ACTIONS CONTRACT
Following on from its recent announcement of an agreement with Credit Suisse
First Boston Limited, securities and investment software solutions specialist,
Mondas PLC, has now signed agreements worth a minimum of £112,000 with Credit
Suisse Asset Management ('CSAM'), for the Mondas Radica Corporate Actions
Processing System ('Radica CAPS'). The agreements include licences, project and
support services for 30 global users through a single UK server.
'The automation of Corporate Actions is a relatively new area,' says Mondas'
Chairman and Chief Executive, Tim Simon 'and we have quickly achieved a prime
position in this burgeoning market. CSAM conducted its own extensive vendor
selection process and we are proud to have won the business. CSAM has chosen our
latest version of Radica CAPS which provides comprehensive functionality in a
manner that satisfies many different business models. The priorities of CSAM for
example, are very different from Credit Suisse First Boston but Radica CAPS has
the flexibility to meet both needs.'
Radica CAPS has been designed to streamline current Corporate Action processes
from electronic capture of event notifications to the processing of election
decisions in a Straight Through Processing environment. Everything from capture
to systems update is auditable, compliant, electronic and paperless and
substantially reduces operational risk. Radica CAPS is a 'tried and tested'
solution which has been successfully installed in five client sites including
Brewin Dolphin Securities Limited and GNI Limited.
Mondas PLC was established in 1991 by Tim Simon, previously the founder of
another securities and banking software company, which he developed into one of
the UK's top ten software houses. Mondas floated on AIM in 1996 and currently
has offices in the City of London and Rickmansworth.
