Re Directorate

Mondas PLC 31 October 2000 Mondas plc ('Mondas' or the Company') Board Changes Mondas PLC announces the following changes to its Board of Directors with effect from 31 October 2000. The Board is delighted to welcome long-term shareholder Mr Colin Peters, aged 56, to the Board as a non-executive director taking over from Ken Barnes who leaves to enjoy his retirement. The Board thanks Ken for his contribution to the development of the Group. Colin qualified as a Chartered Accountant and developed his career with Coopers & Lybrand, Mann Judd and Dearden Farrow leading to a specialism in computer audit technology and computer consultancy. In 1987 he organised a management buy-out from Dearden Farrow of Medical Computer Services Ltd ('MCSL'), the software company he created for them. By 1992, MEDAX the Hospital Information System designed by Colin within MCSL, was installed in almost 90% of UK private hospitals and five NHS Trust Hospitals. The ACT Group purchased MCSL in May 1992 and merged it with their own healthcare operation in 1993. At the end of 1993 Colin moved on, and in 1994 he established a venture capital company, Hambridge Associates Ltd, with the aim of helping companies within the information technology sector. Colin joins Mondas at an exciting time in the development of the company, following the recent acquisition of DSR Holdings Ltd which designs, manufactures and supplies 'Resource' accounting and management information solutions. Also joining the Board as a non-executive director is Mr Bernard Fairman, aged 51, who will represent Foresight Technology VCT plc following its £1million participation in the placing accompanying the recent acquisition of DSR Holdings Limited. Bernard trained as an economist and in 1970 joined Panmure Gordon as an oil investment analyst. In 1973 he moved on to Edward Bates, a specialist investment bank. On leaving in 1976, he gained investment experience at various small oil/electronic companies. He joined 3i Ventures in 1981 and co-founded VCF partners in 1984, advisers to Fleming Ventures Ltd and Foresight Technology VCT plc. Colin and Bernard bring a wealth of Corporate and Financial Sector experience with them, which will benefit Mondas Plc, both in the Boardroom and in its target financial markets. Matthew Crook, Sales & Marketing Director has resigned to pursue other interests. It is now the Board's intention to separate the roles of Sales and Marketing and appoint individuals with specific securities and e-business experience in each discipline.
