Trading Update
and
Proposal to Adopt an Enterprise Management Incentive Share Option Scheme
('EMI')
Current Trading
The Directors are encouraged by current trading.
The Group, as previously reported, has increased its focus on the securities
and investment sector, which has transformed the Company's prospects. Its
software solutions for corporate actions and reconciliations has met with
significant success and negotiations continue with many financial institutions
and banks for the use of this and other products.
The integration of DSR Holdings Limited (acquired on 9 October, 2000) is
progressing well both from an operational and technical perspective.
Additionally, this business continues to win new clients, particularly in the
further education sector.
For the year ending 30 April 2001, the Directors anticipate an operating loss
significantly smaller than current market expectations despite the fact that
revenues are expected to be slightly lower than anticipated.
EMI
The Board of Mondas, also announces that it proposes to implement a new
Enterprise Management Incentive Option Scheme and has posted a circular of the
details of the scheme to shareholders. This scheme is subject to shareholder
approval and an Extraordinary General Meeting will be held on 20 April, 2001.
