Saffron Energy awarded Intesa for the Sant'Alberto production concession

Saffron Energy (LON: SRON) the AIM quoted European natural gas company, is pleased to confirm that the framework agreement "Intesa" between the Italian State and the Emilia Romagna region for the Company's Sant' Alberto gas field has been granted. This paves the way for full grant of the Sant' Alberto production concession, which as previously indicated is expected in October, with first production expected during the first half of 2018.
