Costain-Skanska Joint Venture awarded third Crossrail contract
Costain is pleased to announce that it has been awarded, in Joint Venture with Skanska, a contract for advance civil engineering works at Bond Street.
The contract is the third to be awarded to the Joint Venture on the Crossrail scheme.
The works comprise the construction of two station box structures, Western Ticket Hall and Eastern Ticket Hall to provide surface access at either end to twin mined platform tunnels.
Work will begin immediately and is estimated for completion in 2012.
