First Interim Dividend

City Natural Resources High Yield Trust plc announces a first interim dividend
of 0.55 pence per share payable on 23 November 2007 to shareholders on the
register on 2 November 2007, having an ex dividend date of 31 October 2007.

This represents a 10.0 per cent increase on last year's first interim dividend
of 0.50 pence per share.
