CITY NATURAL RESOURCES HIGH YIELD TRUST PLC (THE "COMPANY")

TRANSACTION IN OWN SECURITIES

The Board of City Natural Resources High Yield Trust plc announces that on 12 February 2016 the Company purchased £1,376,000 nominal of 3.5% Convertible Unsecured Loan Stock 2018, for cancellation, at a price of 95.00p per £1 nominal of loan stock.

Following this transaction, £35,415,453 nominal of CULS remain in issue.
