AGM Statement and Board Appointment
12 November 2013 - Craneware plc (AIM: CRW.L), the market leader in automated revenue integrity solutions for the US healthcare market, will be holding its Annual General Meeting at 10am today at the UK offices of Craneware plc, 1 Tanfield, Edinburgh, EH3 5DA. At the meeting, Keith Neilson, CEO of the Company, will make the following statement:
"We have been pleased with trading in the start of the year. Healthcare organisations across the US continue to turn to Craneware for solutions to improve their financial performance. The strengthening of sales activity seen through the course of the previous year has continued and trading in the first few months of the new financial year has been healthy.
"We are delighted to be able to announce this morning the appointment of Colleen Blye to the Board as Non-Executive Director, in line with our stated growth strategy. Colleen is the Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Catholic Health Systems of Long Island ("CHS"), an integrated healthcare delivery system which incorporates six hospitals, three nursing homes, a regional home care and hospice group and a community-based agency for persons with special needs.
"Colleen brings over 20 years' experience across senior positions within the US healthcare industry and will provide valuable insight to us as we seek to further develop our market positioning."
Colleen Blye, Non-Executive Director, Craneware, added, "The huge changes taking place across the US healthcare market are impacting heavily on healthcare organisations of all sizes. The increasing regulatory and fiscal pressures mean management teams need to examine the ways in which they ensure the financial integrity of their organisations. I have been impressed by Craneware's vision in addressing these issues and look forward to working with Keith and the team to increase market awareness of the business at the top levels within US healthcare organisations."
Colleen joined CHS in 2010 from Catholic Health Initiatives ("CHI"), where she served as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer since 2005. She was with CHI for over twenty years, serving in various roles of increasing responsibility. Ms. Blye started her career in Finance with Ernst and Young in Philadelphia, PA.
Colleen Ann Blye, (aged 53), does not currently hold, nor has held during the last five years immediately preceding the date of this announcement, any directorships or partnerships. There are no other matters which are required to be announced under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
