APPOINTMENT OF A DIRECTOR
The board of Craneware is pleased to announce the appointment of Craig Preston as Finance Director with effect from 15 September 2008.
Craig comes with experience in senior financial roles within publicly quoted technology companies with exposure to UK, US and global markets. His most recent appointments being Group Director of Finance and Company Secretary at Intec Telecom Systems from 2004-2007 and Corporate Development Manager at London Bridge Software plc from 2000-2004 including the role of Chief Financial Officer with the acquisition target Phoenix International Inc the NASDAQ quoted software company 2001-2002.
Craig Thomas Preston (aged 37) has no current directorships or partnerships. The directorships he has held over the five years preceding the date of this appointment are as follows:
Independent Technology Systems (India) Pvt Limited, Independent Technology Systems SL Unipersonal, Intec Telecom Systems Denmark A/S
As at the date of this announcement, Mr Preston has no interest in the ordinary share capital of the Company. However, on his appointment, he was granted options over 72,115 ordinary shares with an exercise price of 2.08p. The vesting of these options is governed by the achievement of certain performance targets set by the Craneware Remuneration Committee.
There are no other matters which are required to be announced as required under paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules.
