Cranswick PLC 30 October 2002 30 October 2002 Cranswick acquires North Wales Foods Cranswick plc ('Cranswick'), the Yorkshire based food producer, today announces the acquisition of North Wales Foods Limited ('NWF'). NWF is involved in the supply of sandwiches and sandwich ingredients to a wide range of customers based primarily in Wales and North West England. This acquisition extends Cranswick's range of products, which includes continental foods and gourmet sausages, into another growth area of the food market. NWF had net assets of £1.0m at 30 April 2002, the date of its most recent audited accounts. Cranswick's chief executive Martin Davey commented 'We are delighted that NWF is joining Cranswick.
