Director Appointments
Cranswick plc, a leading UK food producer, announces the appointment of Yetunde Hofmann as an independent Non-Executive Director of the Company and of Christopher Aldersley as an Executive Director of the Company, both with effect from 1 August 2022.
Yetunde Hofmann
Yetunde is the Managing Director of Synchrony Development Consulting, an international leadership and change consultancy that partners with leaders to facilitate strategy, change, diversity and inclusion and the founder of Solaris Global Executive Leadership Development. She is also a Trustee at the Institute of Business Ethics (IBE) and is a visiting fellow at the University of Reading's Henley Business School of Marketing and Reputation.
On appointment, Yetunde will become a member of the Audit, Remuneration, Nomination and ESG committees.
Yetunde is an independent Non-Executive Director at Treatt plc. No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to Yetunde Hofmann's appointment as a Non-Executive Director of the Company.
Christopher Aldersley
Chris joined Cranswick in 1998 and since then has undertaken a variety of senior management roles, becoming the Group's Chief Operating Officer in 2015. Chris has responsibility for managing the operations at the Group's four primary processing and sixteen added value facilities and also for its agricultural operations, which support the Group's vertically integrated supply chain strategy.
The appointment of Chris to the Board recognises his contribution to the Group and central importance of his role going forward as a member of the Board to the delivery of the Group's long-term strategy.
On appointment, Chris will become a member of the ESG committee.
No other information is required to be disclosed pursuant to Listing Rule 9.6.13R in relation to Chris Aldersley's appointment as an Executive Director of the Company.
