Cranswick plc announces the appointment of Adam Couch to the Board as an
Executive Director with effect from 2 July 2003. Adam, aged 34, joined Cranswick
in 1991 and is managing director of the fresh pork activities of Cranswick
Country Foods.

There are no details requiring to be disclosed under paragraph 16.4 of The
Listing Rules.

Martin Davey, Chief Executive said 'I am delighted to welcome Adam to the Board.
Adam has played a key role in the development of our fresh port activities and
we look forward to his ongoing contribution at Board level.'
