This announcement is further to our Interim Management Statement issued on Monday 28 July to confirm that Bernard Hoggarth has retired as a Director of Cranswick plc on 28 July 2014.  He was appointed a Director in 1988 and was Chief Executive between 2004 and 2012.

Bernard has been with the business for 36 years and during this period Cranswick has progressed from being a farmer owned regional business into a listing on the London Stock Exchange and a member of the FTSE 250.

The Board would like to thank Bernard for his enormous contribution to Cranswick over the years, and to wish him well in his retirement.
