Result of Extraordinary General Meeting

The Board of Cranswick is pleased to announce that at the Extraordinary General
Meeting held earlier today, the resolution to approve the acquisition of Perkins
Chilled Foods was duly passed.

It is expected that the acquisition of Perkins Chilled Foods will be completed
later today.

Copies of the ordinary resolution passed to approve the acquisition of Perkins
Chilled Foods will today be submitted to the UK Listing Authority and will
shortly be available for inspection at the UK Listing Authority's Document
Viewing Facility, 25 The North Colonnade, Canary Wharf, London E14 5HS.
