ISSUE OF EQUITY

The Board of Creightons plc (the "Company") is pleased to announce that the Company has issued and allotted 203,000 new ordinary shares to certain employees and a director and a person discharging managerial responsibility, at a price of 2p per new ordinary share, raising a total of approximately £4,060 for the Company, and representing approximately 0.37 per cent. of the enlarged issued share capital.

Application has been made for these new ordinary shares to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority.  Application has also been made to the London Stock Exchange plc for such ordinary shares to be admitted to trading on its market for listed securities.  It is expected that listing and trading will be effective from 15 July 2011.

As part of the placing, William Glencross, a director of the Company, subscribed for 67,500 new ordinary shares, representing 0.12 per cent. of the enlarged share capital of the Company.  As he had no beneficial interest in any shares of the Company prior to this, this represents his total holding.  Also as part of the placing, Paul Forster, a person discharging managerial responsibilities, subscribed for 67,500 new ordinary shares, representing 0.12 per cent. of the enlarged share capital of the Company.  As he had no beneficial interest in any shares of the Company prior to this, this represents his total holding.

For the purposes of the Financial Services Authority's Disclosure and Transparency Rules, the total number of ordinary shares in issue following admission of the new ordinary shares will be 54,478,876, each carrying the right to one vote.  The above figure may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, the Company under the FSA's Disclosure and Transparency Rules.
